We are DEDICATED
Our entire registry is dedicated to the advocacy and preservation of the working Border Collie. Border Collies have worked alongside their handlers as dedicated and versatile livestock herding dogs. That heritage and innate intelligence and ability is of the upmost importance to the NBCA. The preservation of the natural working ability within the Border Collie breed and the promoting of proper handling and training is in the forefront of what the NBCA is promoting and stands for. We strongly feel that the future of the working Border Collie lies in their handlers hands.

Trust and honesty matter! The National Border Collie Association strives to produce the most accurate and comprehensive lineage pedigrees and database information possible. We strive to be known for excellence, honesty and integrity and for our unwavering devotion to the Border Collie breed.
We are UNITED
The versatility of the Border Collie has allowed it to become a favorite dog for a variety of farm and herding jobs as well as almost all competitive dog sports. Some Border Collies are used to herd cattle, sheep or goats- others are used to herd horses, chickens or other poultry. The National Border Collie Association wants to support and bring together ALL handlers and owners of working Border Collies- regardless of what their dog herds or participates in! The versatility and intelligence of the working Border Collie is what must unite us all and enable us to move forward with a clear vision in working together to maintain the innate working abilities that make the Border Collie so amazing!
